Gone are the days

in which tradition rules.

The laws themselves, holy like the angels,

the enforcers were the wings.

Up in the sky, decency and righteousness fly.

Africa my Africa!

Why did she allowed this?

For the people of Africa,

it was physical slavery

now that all madness and sorts

flow into mother Africa,

it is mental slavery,

white western sociality

in the black man’s land.

I declare in words

that we scrutinize all from the west,

pick good and drop otherwise,

that we stand as a nation,

that the youth of today,

beholders of light

restore the glory of Africa

starting by re-establishing the moral stands

that our forefathers built.
